The only way to get to Siquijor Island from Bohol is by ferry. Ocean Jet offers a direct trip between the two popular destinations every day. The ferry leaves Tagbilaran ferry terminal at 10.20 am every day and arrives into Larena Pier on Siquijor at 11.40 am, with the journey taking just 1 hour 20 mins. For this route, a standard open air or tourist class (inside with aircon) ticket costs 700 PHP per person one way.

How to get from Cebu to Siquijor Island

Unfortunately, there’s no direct route to get to Siquijor Island from Cebu City.

The fastest way to get from Cebu City to Siquijor is by catching an early morning ferry to Tagbilaran and then changing on to the 10.20am daily ferry to Siquijor. The combined ferry journey times are 3 hours 20 mins and the combined cost is 1150 PHP per person.

Alternatively, a much cheaper way to get from Cebu City to Siquijor is to catch the bus down to Liloan port in Santander at Cebu island’s southern tip and then the ferry from Liloan to Siquijor. The bus journey takes around 4 hours and costs 150 PHP. The ferry then takes around 2 – 3 hours and costs 200 PHP. The ferry leaves once a day at 10am and is run by Maayo Shipping.

How to get from Dumaguete to Siquijor Island

Travelling to Siquijor from Dumaguete is very quick and easy. Run by Ocean Jet, ferries depart 5 times throughout the day from Dumaguete ferry terminal, arriving into Siquijor Pier. The first ferry leaves at 7.20 am and the last one at 5 pm with the journey taking just 50 minutes. Tickets cost 250 PHP per person one way.

How to get from Moalboal or Oslob to Siquijor Island

The easiest way to get to Siquijor from Moalboal or Oslob is by catching the bus to Liloan port in Santander and then the ferry to Siquijor. The ferry takes around 2 – 3 hours and costs 200 PHP.
